Built in 1912 for Mary Blades Foreman, this house is a Neo-Colonial Revival style house. When the house was built it was known as a Southern Colonial Revival style house. Mary Blades Forman was a member of the city's prominent Blades family and had this house built following the sudden death of her husband Clay Foreman. The plans for this house specified that three nails were to be used where one would normally suffice.
